Robert Teasell MD FRCPC is Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Schulich School of Medicine, Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. He is Medical Director of the 26-bed Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Parkwood Institute, St. Joseph's Health Care London. Dr. Teasell has authored over 300 peer-reviewed articles, 22 book chapters, 60 monographs, 278 published abstracts as well as over 1,380 posters and invited lectures. He is the principal investigator for the Stroke Rehabilitation Evidence-Based Review (www.ebrsr.com), Acquired Brain Injury Evidence-Based Review (ERABI) (www.abiebr.com) and the Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Evidence (www.scireproject.com). His research interests include implementation of neuro-rehabilitation evidence into practice, the rehabilitation of severe and chronic strokes, and the management of chronic pain disability.
