I am a researcher/GIS analyst working at McMaster University for the McMaster Monitoring My Mobility (MacM3) research platform, led by Dr. Marla Beauchamp. As a member of this platform, I am helping to roll-out a large cohort study where older adults will be using a smartwatch with a custom application our team developed which tracks multiple mobility indicators. My research background is in transportation geography, where I use GPS data to illuminate trends in various facets of the built environment, such as older-adult mobility and usage of transportation networks by active transit users.
