Mann, Jim

Profile

Jim is a businessman, a volunteer and an advocate. He established his management consulting company, Capital Business Strategies Ltd. in February 1994 following a 25-year career with Canadian Airlines/CP Air. In February 2007 at the age of 58 Jim was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and is now a strong Alzheimer's Advocate. The recipient of numerous awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for volunteer service to the community, Jim now volunteers his time to ‘advocate to educate’ addressing such issues as living well with dementia, awareness, stigma, stereotypes and health-care worker education.
